Replacement motor for treadmill
Suitable for home fitness equipment.
This motor is suitable to replace engines with specifications:
V: 180 to 230V
HP : between 1.25 and 2.0
Motor body diameter 8.2 cm
Motor RPM: between 4000 RPM and 5600 RPM
Installation
1. Check for proper lubrication of the running belt
2. Check the correct tensioning of the drive belt and running belt
3. Remove the old motor Connect the new motor ( Faston M + corresponds to the red wire M- corresponds to the black wire )
After installation, follow the instructions below to avoid damage to the motor as a replacement.
1. Regularly lubricate the running deck
2. Always start with your feet on the side rails (FIRST start the tape at 1km / h )
3. Keep a walking speed over 5km / h After training, check if the motor overheats .
4. If the motor reaches 45 ° C verify the correct installation and maintenance.
Special Cases
1. If the motor board does not have a speed sensor, it is necessary to calibrate the new engine. We proceed by turning the trimmer speed of 1/4 turn at a time as per the attached image
2. If the mounting holes do not match those on the treadmill, you can alternatively drill the mounting plate of the motor so that the holes match those on the engine or fix the engine with jubilee clips / metal bands (available from hardware stores).
3. If the engine crankcase touches the top of the treadmill, position spacer washers (available from hardware stores) under the hood to keep it slightly raised.
